I have been meaning to look into Mono for some time now.
The article builds a Hello World program in Windows then moves the resulting exe over to Linux. After a quick rename of the exe the file is then executed and runs. This is really cool. I am curious how a more complex program would work. Does any one have any experience with Mono? Back to the article. The article then goes on to Monodevelop and running a web application on Linux. The side notes in the article have some helpful tips.
