Open Source vs Windows
ReallyLinux.com is running an interesting article entitled 'Open Source VS Windows: Reality of a Better Paradigm.' I can see both sides of the issue here. On one hand, I can see the need to lock down the users computers as tightly as possible. With all the strange things users do you need a way to protect the network. On the other hand, I would find it difficult if someone locked down my computer to the point where I could not change font size.
One of the things I like about Linux is the ability to customize my computer to allow me to work at my best. I am also aware that with all this power comes a high level of complexity and choices that the average user be able to handle.
