Site: William Kessler's World
Post: Top Ten Benifits for Owning a Linux Box
William gives us his top 10 reasons for owning a Linux box. The list includes some the standards like Total Cost of Ownership and high security. My problem with the list is that there is no supporting links to his claims. Does anyone have any supporting material for William's claims?

The site BSD Linux Gangster has a posting on KlamAV. KlamAV is an anti-virus program for KDE enviornment. The article opens with why a Linux or BSD user should install an anti-virus program on their system. I know that the risk of a Linux or BSD system getting a virus is really low. I think it is just a matter of time before Linux gets hit with its first virus.

Collaborative Portal Server
Today I came across the CPS Project. Collaborative Portal Server (CPS) is collaborative web content management system. You can use this to implement collaborative protals. CPS Project includes, collaborative work and publication spaces, document versionning, roles management, skinable portal interface, and notifications of events.
This looks like the open source competitor to Sharepoint. I wish I had a project to test CPS out on. I will have to try to keep this tool in mind.
